THE ROLE


The purpose and unique contribution of your role is to understand current and changing business and market needs to deliver the right technology products, with the right experience, to the right people, at the right time, in the right place and for the right price.


The main focus of your role is to provide ownership for services provided to approximately 17500 staff across the IAG group in Australia, NZ and Singapore.


You day to day role will involve following:

  • Hardware procurement, support and maintenance (desktop computer and associated peripherals and accessories)
  • Monitoring, reporting on and driving improvement in SLA adherence by team, partners and vendors
  • Developing, Implementing and Managing an Evergreen Hardware Refresh model to better meet the needs of our customers
  • Continually looking for opportunities to uplift our ability to support our customers in a Hybrid Workforce model
  • Tracking, reporting and recommending in regard to Fleet Health and next gen tech


This is a permanent hybrid role based in either New Zealand or Australia with team a presence across both Australia & New Zealand.


ABOUT YOU

  • 6+ years' experience and knowledge of IT technology and infrastructure
  • Excellent documentation skills for technical documentation, knowledge articles and user training
  • Experience in writing policy and procedure documentation
  • Experience in the effective management of teams (line management not essential)
  • Welldeveloped coaching and mentoring skills
  • Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and completes them with mínimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to competently lead response to critical system failures
  • Working Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management (ITIL) processes
  • A good understanding of contract management
  • A good understanding of financial management principles
  • Proven experience in delivering to SLAs
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills; and
  • Experience in dealing with and managing IT industry vendors.
