About the Role
We currently have a vacancy in our Parks & Recreation team as the Foreman Area Maintenance. The role is responsible for the formal supervision of a crew as well as the maintenance and improvement of safety and appearance of public open spaces across our rapidly growing Shire. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their competency, meeting the following essential criteria:
- Certificate III in Parks and Gardens, Horticulture, Arboriculture, Landscape, Cleansing or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in maintaining parks and large open spaces
- Demonstrable experience in the supervision of staff with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Work Health and Safety General Induction for Construction Work in NSW (White Card).
- Current NSW MR drivers' licence
- Current Traffic Controller & Implementing Traffic Control Plans qualifications
- ChemCert / ChemUse certificate or willingness to obtain
