Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager to lead our maintenance team at our Fulfillment Center in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining site operations in a safe, standard, and efficient manner, while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and support the maintenance team to ensure site operations are maintained in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Work with the team and wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
  3. Support the implementation of safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment.
  4. Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide high equipment availability.
  5. Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for shifts by organizing training programs.
  6. Manage local and Australia-wide projects as assigned by the manager.
  7. Be prepared to work on a shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.

A Day in the Life:

You'll be based at one of our operational sites, where you'll have the opportunity to give practical guidance to your team and gain a clear vision of site operations. This involves collecting data, solving problems, and creating an operational plan to improve productivity and efficiency.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Horsley Park, NSW, AUS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree in a technical discipline
  • Relevant experience in managing people in an engineering team
  • Relevant experience as part of a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment
  • Relevant experience in liaising and managing relationships between stakeholders
  • Experience with automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience of working with statutory regulations and machine safety protocols
  • Experience of using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems
  • Experience with project management or Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processes
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
