About the role

The primary focus of the position is to work in a supporting project and implementation role for a range of medium scale projects at a Regional level.

The position will work across a diverse range of areas including asset, environmental, community and heritage works that are to be delivered as part of a defined project.


We're looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering and Business, and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is desirable.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in delivering projects across a range of outputs.
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical problem solving.
  • Previous stakeholder management experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing contracts/agreements with consultants, contractors, project partners, other government agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience in provision of expert and technical advice and support.
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check.
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • A current Resume
  • A Cover Letter OR A cover letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria (KSC) as outlined in the position description.

About the Region:

The Melbourne Region consists of a diverse range of parks and reserves.

Staff working within the Region are responsible for providing efficient and effective implementation of a broad range of often complex park management functions including natural, cultural and built asset management, visitor management and services, stakeholder management, park planning and emergency response.
