The primary purpose of the role is to lead and support the development and execution of the strategy and growth of the business alongside Executive and Senior Management. As a senior member of the Business Development team, this person will take a leading and integral role in the development of strategic direction, ideas and relationships and the origination, execution and integration of new initiatives across the business.

You will be responsible for using strategic thinking, analytical skills and project management capability to drive the development and implementation of key Business Development projects. This will include the origination, execution, integration and operationalisation of new projects in new market entry strategies, acquisitions, service expansion, government partnerships, industry partnerships, innovation and business improvement initiatives. The role will be focused on executing on a significant pipeline of existing opportunities, while also originating and growing additional initiatives. In addition, you may be involved in large transformational corporate projects such as acquisitions, capital initiatives and strategic partnerships.

The role would suit an Associate or VP with 4-10 years of investment banking experience or someone who has previously been in M&A and then moved into a Corporate. You will have strong modelling / core technical skills, will be a team player with up-tempo energy. You will be ambitious and driven but you will also be personally aligned to the nature of the business – healthcare.
