About the role:

Build and execute 1:1 automated event and trigger-based marketing programs using third party platform.

This includes executing needs based 1:1 automated event and trigger-based marketing programs to grow customer lifetime value and revenue generation.


  • Assist with defining and automating 1:1 marketing and personalised communication programs, working with data teams as required.
  • Support Brand Marketing teams with 1:1 customer marketing programs.
  • Assist with defining and automating 1:1 and personalised communications programs.
  • Assist with developing new capabilities, MVPs and future needs for customer 1:1 marketing.

More specifically, you will:

  • Execute 1:1 marketing campaigns to support brand, financial and customer objectives
  • Execute 1:1 marketing automated event and triggerbased marketing programs as required.
  • Execute programs to drive usage of value add platforms, including loyalty programs and the App as required
  • Implement audience and triggerbased programs in collaboration with broader Customer Marketing
  • Develop and create frameworks and processes for campaign delivery.
  • Identify and integrate new sources of data to drive program insight and effectiveness.
  • Ongoing optimisation of 1:1 comms programs.
  • Execute test and learn programs to drive marketing effectiveness existing campaigns and programs.
  • Integration of Next Best Action and other key analytical models into programs
  • Develop ongoing new strategic initiatives for 1 to 1 Marketing programs.
  • Manage change request for future/ existing campaigns.
  • Monitor and maintain always on campaigns.

About You:

  • Tertiary Degree in IT, Business or Marketing Mandatory
  • Certification in SFMC, Responsys or Adobe Campaign desirable
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar environment (either Client or Agency side) with a focus on direct marketing and/or customer marketing. Executing customer 1:1 marketing eDM, SMS or Push campaigns.

Key Capabilities:

  • Direct marketing processes including eDM, SMS and content.
  • Can troubleshoot HTML bugs.
  • Building and scheduling 1:1 automated event and triggerbased marketing programs including retention and loyalty programs to eDM, SMS and/ or Push channels.
  • Understanding of analytics and marketing automation technology
  • Highly effective communication and consulting skills
  • A result driven outlook with proven ability to deliver
  • Planning, Organising and Attention to detail.
  • Developed problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Enthusiasm for marketing technology and data to identify opportunities & threats.
  • Exposure to ROI marketing management.
  • Ability to manage an allocated budget.
  • Skilled in coordinating with external parties
  • Quality Assurance/Peer Review experience
