About the Company: Join our team at Nine Plus (Radio) as the Group Business Director, a key leadership position within the sales department of Nine. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can drive business growth and partnerships in the radio sector.



Position: Full-time

The Group Business Director at Nine Plus (Radio) plays a crucial role in leading the audio Nine Plus (direct) sales team in NSW, fostering relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their business outcomes.

This role involves strategic planning, revenue generation, and team management to maximize Nine's market share and revenue from the assigned territory.

Reporting to the Director of Sales - Nine Plus, the Group Business Director oversees a team of 10 direct reports, comprising Business Managers and Account Executives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrated sales, client relationship management, and a proven record of driving revenue growth.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of radio advertising benefits and Nine's commercial strategy.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team focusing on broadcast, digital, radio, and publishing assets.
  • Develop strategic plans to increase revenue across all streams and foster relationships with key clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to client briefs.
  • Utilize advanced negotiating skills and commercial acumen to close deals across multiple platforms.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Business, Media, or similar field.
  • Proven experience in direct advertiser relationships and revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead a large team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
