Jacobs is seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to join our Operations, Management & Facility Services (OMFS) team in Melbourne. This is a key role sustaining our strong client relationships across Victoria and with our internal water and cross-sector infrastructure teams.

You will play an integral part in delivering asset management, operations and maintenance services to our water and cross-sector infrastructure clients in Victoria. This hands-on role will interface directly with key clients and while headquartered in Melbourne, it will involve travel to client sites across Victoria and throughout Australia as we support critical infrastructure projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver asset operations, maintenance planning and scheduling for client projects.
  • Conduct asset condition and criticality assessments, remaining life calculations, decay forecasts.
  • Apply International Infrastructure Management Manual processes and practices.
  • Implement and optimise CMMS/Enterprise Asset Management Systems.
  • Lead asset reliability, availability and maintainability improvement programs (RCM, RCA, FMECA).
  • Develop asset management and maintenance training competency frameworks.
  • Support development of O&M mobility applications and maintenance initiatives.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical field
  • Experience in asset operations and maintenance delivery
  • Expertise in maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Knowledge of asset management systems, frameworks and practices
  • Background in reliability, root cause analysis and asset life cycle programs
  • Strong client-facing abilities to nurture key relationships in Victoria.
