A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a People & Culture Coordinator to join the WEM team.

Based in Norwest Business Park (Bella Vista) and reporting to the People & Culture Manager this role provides general administrative support to the People & Culture Team, as well as maintaining HR systems and providing first level HR support and advice to our employees.


In this position, you'll be:

  • Providing accurate and timely administrative support to the People & Culture Team.
  • Preparing employee correspondence.
  • Working proactively with the business, providing first level advice to employees, and answering queries on HR related matters, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Coordinating the administration process associated with the new starter process, leaver process, probations and other HR functions as required.
  • Coordinating and administering learning and development programs in the conjunction with the People & Culture Team.
  • Perform HR system data entry, including entering new starter records, contract changes, salary increases, terminations etc.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to review key HR statistics.
  • Assist with Workplace Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Assisting the People & Culture team with implementation of HR initiatives and projects.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Administrative experience.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR or industrial relations or currently studying.
  • Previous experience working withing an HR environment is beneficial.
