THE TEAM


The Procurement team has primary responsibility for designing and implementing the policies that control the organization's procurement of raw materials, supplies, equipment and services.

It manages relationships/partnerships with key suppliers and drives synergies for CCEP.

THE ROLE
We currently have a very exciting opportunities in the API Procurement team based in Sydney. You will lead category procurement teams across Labour, Capex and MRO spend to optimise total procurement costs.

You will need to ensure quality and security standards are met for all materials and services purchased and maximize value delivery for CCEP.

You will collaborate with your counterpart in CCEP Europe procurement to deliver aligned and consistent approach to categories across the CCEP Group as well as provide leadership support within the Tower team.

In this role you will maximize the value delivery for CCEP on overall purchasing costs through a total cost ownership management and business partnering approach with business stakeholders.


Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop creative, value focused category strategies that meet business needs including risk mitigation, total cost of ownership reduction, sustainability and value beyond cost across the supply chain.
  • Support the Tower Lead in development and implementation of the annual strategic, operating and budgeting process across your tower and ensure business and category plans align to stakeholder needs (one procurement face to the BU)
  • Develop and coach a category management team to ensure they maximise their individual and team performance and drive succession plan for the team.
  • Ensure procurement initiatives are executed using the 7Step Strategic Sourcing Process and methodology to carry out RFIs / RFPs, run negotiations and manage contracts with the support of Procurement systems and tools.
  • Lead CCEP API participation in global CEPG sourcing tenders and negotiations and ensure alignment of global CEPG sourcing initiatives to stakeholder needs.
  • Implement best practices across the procurement lifecycle and leverage available technology
  • Enhance and manage strategic supplier relationships in line with agreed supplier performance and compliance indicators and implement best practices across the procurement lifecycle
  • Drive sustainability developments through the supply chain, supporting CCEP to deliver sustainability goals through category projects delivering competitive, sustainable outcomes
  • Support business in implementing outcomes of procurement sourcing activities.
  • Protect CCEP from all risks associated with third party supply through category risk management strategies

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE/BE:

  • Procurement management or category management including experience within regional/global categories and organisations
  • University degree in Supply Chain, Commerce or other related field required Page
  • Strong understanding of strategic sourcing management practices, with experience in using a diverse range of methods and tools
  • Proven procurement project and portfolio management experience and contract management
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively influence outcomes to realise organisational benefits
  • Demonstrable supply market evaluation and optimisation experience
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at a senior level and build strong relationships
  • Experienced in developing risk mitigation strategies.
