As the Category Marketing Lead, of this well respected Australian supply chain organisation, you will be crucial in shaping and executing product marketing strategies. This role involves comprehensive product planning, effective marketing implementation, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting core values. If you excel at developing influential marketing strategies and enjoy working with diverse teams, this is the role for you.

INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute the category marketing strategy and plan.
  • Understand customer needs and behaviors.
  • Oversee the creation of product marketing plans to enhance market penetration and strengthen the brand.
  • Manage product positioning and messaging within the category.
  • Develop sales enablement tools to convey value propositions and support the sales process.
  • Work with marketing team members to establish requirements for new product launches and ranges.
  • Regularly report on the status and results of the category marketing plan, keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Provide marketing support during promotional campaigns.
  • Implement the category marketing strategy and communicate actions effectively.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Proven experience in product marketing in a similar role, ideally within a B2B environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to embody and promote organisational values.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and training.
  • Proficient in research and data analysis to understand customer, category, and market dynamics.
  • Tertiary/Bachelor qualification in Marketing (preferred).
