The Position:

As a Facility Manager this key role is about ensuring our residents receive high-quality person-centred care, while the home operates effectively and efficiently.


  • You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the home. You will be a natural leader with the ability to maintain the crucial balance between service and clinical care, and operational and staffing needs
  • You will understand the significant aged care reform agenda and commission recommendations and be passionate about leading, managing teams to achieve high standards
  • Develop annual facility based budget, monitor and manage resources according to budget forecasts and variances
  • Join a thriving, positive organisational culture that prioritises well-being.

Key Information:
  • This is a Monday-Friday full-time permanent position
  • Small, fully accredited Home with less than 70 Beds
  • Located in the Eastern Suburbs
  • Salary up to $165,000 (depending on experience) + Super + Salary Packaging
  • Strong Care Manager for Clinical Support
  • You do not need to be clinical for this role
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a health or related discipline.
  • Formal qualifications in Management or related discipline or comparable business experience.
  • Demonstrable empathy with the elderly community and their families
  • Proven financial, people and change management skills in an aged care residential facility
  • Demonstrable strengths in continuous improvement and quality systems
  • Demonstrated experience in the Accreditation process
