About the role:

Victoria Police is currently advertising one (1) x Full Time, Administrative/Property Officer position at Carrum Downs Police Station. We are seeking an individual with a desire and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. As the successful applicant your primary role will be providing Administrative/Property Officer support at Carrum Downs Police Station.
Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

Your duties will include:

  • Processing of incoming and outgoing briefs of evidence and routine correspondence including quality control and processing of urgent and complex court documents.
  • Issuing, updating, completing, and archiving of confidential records and accountable documents in a timely manner.
  • Providing high level administrative support including banking, filing & general office duties to Police personnel as needed/directed.
  • Providing advice to internal and external agencies on a range of Police administration matters.
  • Daily property accounting, storage management, and disposal of lost or seized property items in accordance with Police policy and relevant legislation.
  • Using Victoria Police property management software.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative services in a confidential environment.
  • Great interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to communicate well with key internal and external stakeholders using a variety of communication channels and platforms.
  • Ability to maintain systematic and accurate administrative records.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to proactively manage consecutive tasks and work to timelines.
  • General computer/Microsoft Office skills.
  • Adaptability to change.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • One (1) x full time, position available.
  • Initial duties for this role will be at Carrum Downs Police Station, 42 Ballarto Road, Frankston North, VIC,3200.
