The Role

We are looking for an experienced Credit professional to join our pet friendly Northgate team long-term as a Senior Credit Officer. Under the guidance of the Credit Manager, you will hold a senior position within a highly supportive team, ensuring positive outcomes for our valued vet clinic customers. This is a great chance to be part of a large finance team at the head office and contribute to a global organization that positively impacts vet customers and pet owners.

About You

Your responsibilities will include –

  • Managing corporate accounts across Australia, New Zealand, and our Technology Solutions business.
  • Supporting the Credit Manager with key projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Handling approval processes for account applications, redemptions, and credit notes.
  • Concluding account closures.
  • Providing ad hoc finance reporting at month end and quarter end.
  • Serving as an escalation point for the AR team and customer inquiries.
  • Assisting with various duties as needed.

About You

We ideally seek someone who demonstrates –

  • Either significant experience in credit control and aiming to transition to a senior role or experience in a senior finance position with proven commercial collections experience.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for handling complex customer queries and situations.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Ability to maintain precision and attention to detail.
  • Reliability and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly and collaborative approach to work effectively within a unified finance team.
