To support extended leave, we are seeking a proficient Temporary Credit Officer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial stability and prosperity of our firm. You will be tasked with evaluating the creditworthiness of our clients, managing credit limits, and mitigating credit risk. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our finance team to oversee overdue accounts, negotiate payment terms, and swiftly resolve any billing discrepancies.

The Role
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include,
Assess the creditworthiness of prospective and existing clients through comprehensive financial analysis.Establish and administer credit limits in accordance with risk assessment protocols and organisational guidelines.Monitor accounts receivable ageing reports and proactively engage with clients to secure timely payments.Liaise with internal stakeholders to address billing discrepancies, resolve client inquiries, and facilitate payment reconciliations.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster open communication and expedite issue resolution.About You
The successful applicant will have/be,
Previous experience in credit analysis or accounts receivable management is highly desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.What's on Offer?
