The National Manager, Conversion and Accessories, holds responsibility for the professional end to end delivery of genuine and affiliated Nissan accessories which support all current and new models.

Reporting into the AMIEO region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania) the role holds responsibility for the Oceania markets, as well plays a supporting function for the remaining groups, whilst supporting overall regional business strategies.


Key Features:


Communication with local, regional and global functions to understand future Nissan model plans and set suitable accessory strategies for the intended vehicle positioning.

Presentation and approval of vehicle plans through the regional and global Accessories related functional groups to support the delivery of the project

Support and oversight of the local Planning and Engineering functions to ensure accessory delivery is achieved to budget, within appropriate time frame to the appropriate Nissan development standards

Setting short and medium range strategic direction for the Conversions and Accessories group to ensure business advancement and investigation of future business opportunity

Managing local workload to ensure appropriate resources are available to allow delivery of the Accessory plans for each project

Managing local budgets to secure appropriate funding and support for all local and regional developments

Primary Accountabilities:

Business planning - Overseeing the Accessories planning group and liaising with Global Accessories planning functions establishing and managing new model accessory program timing, resource planning and key milestone managements

Planning and Development support - Provide oversight and support of the engineering and planning functions to ensure processes are streamlined and in line with global standards and ensuring direction is clear for all stakeholders

Supplier management - Ensure accessory supplier base is maintained and supported and future possible suppliers is investigated to ensure development opportunity are not only maintained but also expanded

Managing business resources such as CAD, workshop and tools to ensure Conversions and Accessories group have the tools necessary to complete the required tasks


Budget oversight to ensure all future budgets are planned accordingly and any approvals required are sought in a timely manner to ensure projects are not delayed or jeopardized.

(e.g. Trial vehicle orders etc.)

About you:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or similar preferred
  • 10 years' experience in Automotive
  • Significant demonstrated project management skills with demonstrated success, including the ability to manage multiple commodities/projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of regulation and compliance rules and part/product development principles
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
