Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business requirements
  • Manage strategic and high-risk contracts, building strong relationships with suppliers
  • Collaborate with business functions to identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and operational risks
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and service quality
  • Represent Kmart in critical negotiations, achieving effective solutions through challenging relationships and conflicting priorities

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a national procurement role
  • Proven leadership experience, managing direct reports and leading multiple procurement projects
  • Strong commercial acumen, understanding of governance, contractual, and commercial support
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple categories and demands
