Fixed term, full-time opportunity available for 12 months.

Seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Officer to provide high quality and efficient service to enable the delivery of the Payroll function and work in a collaboratively and highly skilled team.


This rewarding and challenging Payroll & Benefits Officer role is responsible for the provision of client-focused HR Administration and Superannuation and the maintenance and integrity of data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

The role is a specialist in the operational superannuation reporting and is responsible for the statutory superannuation reporting and error management.


The role requires great communication skills, as the Payroll & Benefits Officer will be responsible for providing timely and accurate client service and advice in respect of employee entitlements and has a close working relationship with other teams across the Human Resource function.


To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in HR, Payroll and Superannuation administration and the use of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of workplace agreements, and HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Experience in the use of PeopleSoft in respect of Payroll, Employee Benefits and Leave (desirable).
