What you'll do:


Working as a member of the Academic Program Support team, you will be working under routine to general supervision of other team members to provide a range of professional functions to support the quality delivery of academic programs in Academic Affairs.


The Associate Academic Program Support Officer role offers the opportunity to work as part of a team across a diverse mix of activities to support students, academics and partners in the provision of an effective Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience for students and the achievement of optimal academic outcomes.

You will provide a range of information and support to stakeholders on WIL processes including but not limited to:

  • Supporting the allocation of students to a variety of WIL settings.
  • Managing the verification of mandatory document requirements, including advice and communications to students to support their preparation for WIL,
  • Administrative support with the monitoring and organisation of Agreements, Risk Assessments, and partner engagement activities,
  • Providing support with the organisation of Student/Partner notifications, and the maintenance of Accommodation and Orientation information,
  • Supporting the WIL payment, results, assessment, and liaison processes during and after WIL experiences,
  • Utilising software and reporting platforms to support staff, academics, and external stakeholders.

Your success in this role will primarily be underpinned by your commitment to providing quality client service and supporting our students and academic staff.

You will be a competent administrator, capable of multi-tasking and prioritising your work to complete tasks in a timely manner.


Additionally, you will:
- have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to identify compliance issues,
- show demonstrated commitment to process improvement and the ability to deliver on procedural changes,
- be able to build productive working relationships with stakeholders,
- have the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all University divisions (academic and professional staff),
- be experienced in working as part of a collegial team, willing to share information and contribute to the betterment of the team, and
- have experience and an ability to adapt in a fast paced work environment.
