Green Leaves Early Learning Mount Pleasant is a state-of-the-art centre comprising 8 light-filled innovative learning hubs for children 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Children delight in our modern resources complemented by our large outdoor spaces, which provoke a sense of curiosity and imagination as they learn through play on our popular bike track, timber play fort, and the ever-popular performance stage.

Our centre believes that family and community are central to all that we do and with that in mind, we proudly provide a beautiful parent lounge where families can catch up over a barista coffee and a freshly baked treat.

Green Leaves Mount Pleasant offers an approved and funded Kindy program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).

About the Role

  • Support our Centre Director on day-to-day operations
  • Create positive, professional, and genuine relationships with team members, children, and their families
  • Leverage your experience to develop and deliver high standards of educational programs
  • Seek perspectives, actively listen, and take on board feedback that further develops ideas or resolves concerns
  • Demonstrate that you are warm, compassionate, and gentle with your communication and have strong time management, organisational, written, and verbal skills
  • Focus on quality improvement and supporting teams to understand and follow Green Leaves policies and procedures
  • Display high levels of initiative and motivation whilst being proactive and flexible with a mature approach

Qualifications

  • Current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
  • Current Blue Card/ Working with Children's Check
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Current Child Protection Training
  • Previous Assistant Director experience (preferred, not essential)
