El1 Assistant Director Clinical Coordination

Salary Range: $114,777 - $126,039 + Attractive Superannuation

**Duties**
- Undertake line management and supervision responsibilities for members of the Open Arms Clinical Care Coordination (CCC) team.
- Responsible for the recruitment, selection, induction, development, and performance management of such employees.
- Lead the CCC team in the management of the initial waitlist.
- Ensure all individual staff are meeting their workload requirements and are maintaining active professional development.
- Provide clinical oversight and complex case management, within a stepped-care model of service provision.
- Provide ongoing consultation and advice to clinicians.
- Support clinical staff to make effective decisions when working with clients with identified complex needs and/or changeable risk status.
- Oversee appropriate case documentation and alerts in the Client Management System.
- Oversee clinical outcome measurement and reporting.
- Provide oversight of Quality Assurance issues related to evidence-based clinical practice.
- Work cooperatively with other services and establish referral pathways to support the needs of Open Arms clients.
- Contribute to the development and review of case management policy, processes and frameworks within Open Arms and DVA as required.
- Participate in clinical and team meetings and contribute to departmental projects and committees.
- Represent Open Arms at stakeholder events, and related activities in consultation with the Regional Director.
- Provide advice to the Regional Director on professional development requirements of Complex case Management as identified.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviours and workplace practices in line with departmental policies.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Open Arms clinical policies and procedures and to the implementation of related counselling and case management practices.
- Undertake coordination of, and actively contribute to, clinical research projects being undertaken across Open Arms.
**Eligibility**
- Applicants must be an Australian citizen to apply.
**Mandatory**
- Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, OR
AND
- Working with Children and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance.
- Extensive clinical and relevant management experience.
**Notes**
A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions within the next 18 months.
