POSITION SUMMARY:

The SVP, Treasurer plays a crucial role in our financial management team by collaborating with colleagues to support strategic initiatives. This individual will engage with business units to facilitate new products, planning, and overall support. Effective communication with business units is key, ensuring alignment on key treasury issues and staying informed on business matters.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Balance Sheet Management
  • Providing analysis on treasury-related risks of the company's balance sheet
  • Leading capital allocation among business units
  • Developing asset/liability management strategies
  • Facilitating collaboration on critical ALM and balance sheet management issues
  • Funding and Liquidity Risk Management
  • Planning and forecasting balance sheet strategies
  • Managing liquidity risk and regulatory compliance
  • Interest Rate Risk and Currency Management
  • Managing interest rate risk and currency fluctuations
  • Developing derivative hedging tactics
  • Capital Management
  • Leading capital management initiatives
  • Managing the organization's stock buyback strategy
  • Establishing risk appetite for capital management
  • Treasury Operations
  • Overseeing treasury operations performance
  • Improving cash management processes
  • Leadership
  • Leading enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Attracting, retaining, and developing talent
  • Succession planning for management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 15 years of treasury/corporate development experience
  • Experience in managing multiple aspects of treasury operations
  • Strength in relationship development
  • Experience in Corporate Development and Investor Relations
  • Experience in stakeholder outreach and influencing regulators
  • Proven success in leadership and talent management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Detail-oriented and strategic thinker
  • Hybrid position requiring office presence in Chicago
