The Remuneration and Benefits Analyst will take the lead in analysing issues, scoping and running projects to resolve these.

They will provide expert advice to other People Services teams and business leaders where required and drive coaching with all levels of stakeholders.


The Analyst supports the delivery and implementation the annual remuneration review for both executive and non-award employees across the Qantas Group, annual executive incentive programs, leave management and share plan administration across the Qantas Group (including non-executive director share plans).

The Analyst is responsible for ensuring consistent quality service is provided to employees, HR business partners and business leaders.

They will have a key role in managing the relationship between the delivery function, Corporate Remuneration, Payroll Operations, HR Policy and Knowledge and Industrial Relations teams, to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all Remuneration and Benefits functions across the Qantas Group.


You'll have:

  • Experience in a Human Resource / Business Analyst oriented role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business /HR or Commerce or comparable discipline are desirable
  • Experience managing projects involving several stakeholders and track record of managing and successfully prioritising and completing multiple tasks.
  • Sound knowledge of salary sacrifice and taxation legislation.
  • Highly developed customer service management skills including by way of delivering to tight timeframes and with a capacity liaise with senior HR and business managers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exposure and understanding of continuous improvement philosophy and demonstrated ability to constructively add to the process.
  • Knowledge of (and demonstrated commitment to) the principles and practices of employment equity, ethical conduct and workplace health and safety.
  • Results orientated perseverance to complete assigned roles and tasks.
