Role Responsibilities
- Pivotal role in the development, implementation and ongoing management of the Compliance Management System and associated Obligations Register.
- Assist in implementing the Compliance Management System Framework. Support and provide practical, assistance to Management and first line roles to understand their compliance obligations, responsibilities and ensuring adequacy of processes and procedures to meet regulatory and business requirements.
- Assist in implementing appropriate compliance monitoring and reporting activities to reflect best practice approaches in line with internal policies and legislative requirements.
- Collate information to assist the Risk and Compliance leadership to report to the Board, Committees & Executive on compliance matters, investigations, regulatory changes, collation of compliance attestations from Executive and General Managers and ongoing monitoring of business functions.
- Engage with internal stakeholder groups to assist in understanding compliance obligations, clarifying interpretation regarding compliance obligations, assigning responsibility and accountability for obligations, undertaking compliance health checks, assist in agreeing compliance treatment plans.
