About the Role

Civeo is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Advisor to join our team in one of our remote WA Villages. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with industry best practices and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Investigate incidents and implement improvement actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Review and conduct risk analysis for tasks and equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Maintain site safety and management systems to ensure compliance with legislation and company policies
  • Guide teams to ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and client WHS requirements
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly HSQE reports to management
  • Lead ICAM investigations and collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food Safety Advisors to monitor Food Safety compliance and standards on site
  • Participate in pre-start/toolbox meetings and mentor team members to make great decisions
Requirements
  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • Cert IV Workplace Trainer & Assessor / Diploma in WHS is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to accurately compile and report statistical information
  • 1 year+ HSEQ experience, preferably with exposure to one of the following sectors: resources, hospitality, defence, emergency services, or facilities management
  • Experience in effectively communicating with a diverse range of teams
  • Experience in completing Incident Investigation & Improvement Actions
  • Reviewing & Conducting Risk Assessment for tasks and equipment
  • Maintain Site Safety and Management systems
  • Hold a valid manual driver's license
  • Be able to pass applicable medical & pre-employment testing
