We are looking for a Development Manager to contribute to the effective, efficient, compliant, and profitable operation of multiple Insurance Brokers within our network.

They will be client-centric, commercially savvy, technically minded and excited to join a growing, values led organisation with a great name in the industry.


About the Role
Reporting to the Advance General Manager, the Development Manager will provide strategic and leadership support to our Partner Network.

This includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to our Authorised Partner Network to determine their present and future needs regarding commercial results, product optimisation and market engagement.
  • Conduct ongoing business reviews of individual Authorised Partner sales performance and provide coaching and mentorship.
  • Providing business support and guidance through preparation, management, implementation and achievement of business plans reporting and goals to the Authorised Partner Network.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, working proactively to gain their support and endorsement by establishing contacts, conducting presentations/workshops and attending stakeholder meetings. Stakeholders include Authorised Partner employees, Insurance Brands Australia operations departments, Insurers, Underwriters and Funders.
  • Identifying opportunities for business improvement and strategic new business opportunities.
  • Managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, interacting with a diverse set of partners and prospective partners.
  • Ensure Advance Division & IBA service delivery to Partners is maintained at a high standard
  • Coordinate, facilitate and attend industry events, including annual conferences, to provide professional growth to our Authorised Partners, prospective partners, team, and self.
This role is pivotal in the retention and growth of our valued Authorised Partners.

The key focus for our incoming Development Manager is to enable success and promote growth within their businesses as an extension of our own.


About You


Your vast network and understanding of the insurance broking industry will see you hit the ground running in this new and exciting opportunity.

As you partner with our clients you become an extension of their own businesses through the service you offer.

You will leverage your previous experience in relationship management and general insurance to build trusted relationships and add value to every authorised partner.

Your strong commercial acumen will gain credibility from both a sales and operational perspective.


With empathy, professionalism, and commitment you will uphold the consistently high level of support given to authorised representatives of Insurance House, operating under our license.

You're a team player with great verbal and written communication skills and a genuine interest in partnering with others. With strong product knowledge, you're excited about working with a collaborative team and well regarded brand.
