We have an opening for a newly established full-time fixed-term (12-month) position for a People & Culture (P&C) Advisor to join AGL. Working within the centralized shared services P&C Advisory Team, you will be at the core of the P&C operational model at AGL. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional employee and customer experience, offering initial P&C support to AGL employees, the broader P&C team, and AGL leaders throughout the employee life cycle.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the P&C Services & Systems Lead, you will:

  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees on HR systems, policies, and processes, such as Workday, Onboarding and Offboarding, Payroll, Job Evaluations, as well as Employment and Industrial Relations compliance
  • In collaboration with P&C and the business, assist in the administration of key people processes throughout the year
  • Coach and mentor frontline leaders to enhance their understanding and proficiency in core P&C procedures and practices through effective self-service solutions
  • Create and deliver operational people-related reports not available through self-service
  • Advocate for process enhancements that promote efficiencies and high-quality data outcomes

About You

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar P&C/HR role, engaging with individuals at all business levels
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Skilled in building relationships across the organization and influencing individuals towards self-service and our preferred work methods
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data analysis and presentation using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team player mentality – sharing knowledge and insights and contributing to team objectives
  • Relevant Undergraduate degree (or working towards one) in HR or a related business discipline is advantageous
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms is highly beneficial
