The Role:
The Head of Enterprise Risk Management plays a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the organization's risk management framework globally. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this position involves working closely with control teams and senior leadership to ensure compliance with risk management policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sustain and embed Enterprise Risk Management Policy
  • Maintain risk management lifecycle standards
  • Lead the organization's risk appetite policy refresh
  • Drive aggregate risk profile reporting
  • Develop a team of risk management professionals
  • Conduct independent effectiveness reviews of risk management processes
  • Establish agendas for risk committees
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes

Requirements:

  • 20+ years of risk management experience
  • Experience in overseeing risk management at financial institutions
  • Familiarity with financial and non-financial risk management
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage critical changes in complex environments
  • Degree in management or finance; MBA preferred
