12 month full-time traineeship
Based in Albury

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Trainee Administration Assistant / Intake Officer based in Albury. You will be working in our Tenants Advice and Advocacy Program (TAAP), supporting our team of Tenancy Consultants who provide valuable support and assistance to residential tenants experiencing difficulties with their tenancy in and around Albury, Bathurst, Goulburn, Orange and Wagga Wagga areas.

Reporting to the Team Leader Tenancy Services, you will provide general administrative support inline with your Cert III in Business studies whilst also developing a valuable understanding of the Community Services sector and the vulnerabilities people in our communities can face.

About the role
Customer service, in person, email and on the phone

  • Data entry
  • Electronic filing
  • Collation of information
  • Triaging calls and emails
  • General administration in line with contractual requirements

  • Willingness and ability to develop administrative and computer skills
  • Ability to learn and provide excellent customer service
  • Capability to be organised and task focused
  • Willingness and ability to work with people with diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Willingness and capacity to complete traineeship requirements in the 12month timeframe
