Business Risk Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Strategy and Culture team in risk management practices, including incident management and investigations to assess member impacts and rectification efforts.
  • Collaborate with other risk and compliance functional staff within Group Risk and Compliance, as well as across other business lines or shared service functions.
  • Assist in the implementation of localised risk management policies, processes, and requirements within supported business groups, ensuring alignment with the Group Risk Management Framework.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the risk management framework.
  • Support the execution of assurance/compliance related checks of risk controls and treatments within the business.
  • Supporting and developing reporting for Strategy and Culture to ensure timely updates to both the team and the organisation

About you:

  • 13 years of relevant experience.
  • Engaging, supportive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Critical analysis skills to uncover hidden insights.
  • Inquisitive nature with the ability to delve into issues regardless of obstacles.
  • Developing knowledge of insurance operations and regulatory environments.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft suite.
