Description

This role supports the delivery of RACQ's strategic portfolio by providing Business Analysis and related services to the portfolio of projects. The project work includes, but is not limited to, problem definition, process modeling, requirements definition and management, business case development, and benefits definition, as well as supporting workstreams such as software development, testing, and organizational change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete BA lifecycle for assigned projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Spearhead BA efforts on large projects, taking accountability for end-to-end outcomes and fostering a productive team environment.
  • Effectively engage business stakeholders and project teams to gather requirements, conduct analyses, and deliver solutions.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues impacting BA deliverables, ensuring project success.
  • Implement rigorous review processes to maintain the highest standards of quality across all BA deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the BA Capability Roadmap, enhancing the overall BA competency.
  • Provide expert coaching and mentoring to junior BAs, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Actively participate in the BA CoP, sharing knowledge, collaborating with colleagues, and staying abreast of industry trends.

About You:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary Business and Process Analysis frameworks and methodologies.
  • High level of experience planning workshops and conducting sessions with large groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Process-oriented with sound judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-honed coaching/mentoring skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Passionate about the BA profession and eager to proactively help RACQ improve its BA practice.
