As our Financial Reporting Manager, reporting to the Group Manager Statutory Reporting, you will manage the Group, subsidiary, and joint venture statutory reporting processes.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will provide technical expertise to Corporate and Property Finance functions on external reporting requirements and accounting standards.


A few of your responsibilities:

Manage the preparation of the Group, subsidiaries and joint ventures' year end and interim external statutory reports ensuring delivery to deadlines Provide technical expertise to Corporate and Property Finance functions on external reporting requirements and accounting standards.

Manage the external audit process and be the key liaison for external auditors.
Prepare technical position papers and the Audit Committee paper as required.
Identify opportunities for controls improvements and business process improvements and participate/own initiatives to execution.

What we are looking for:
CA/ CPA qualified (+5 years).
Accounting (or equivalent) degree (+7 years).
Expert level knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and statutory regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

You are a dynamic finance professional with extensive financial accounting expertise demonstrating a strong grasp of financial principles and regulatory requirements.

Your written and verbal communication skills are exemplary, enabling you to convey complex financial concepts with ease to various stakeholders.

You thrive both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team, bringing your expertise to the table while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with Star Entertainment Group Code of Conduct, all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
