Your Role
The Principle Project Officer, AO7 is a role in which you will:

  • Provide project leadership within a high-functioning team through the design, mentoring and peer review of work.
  • Manage projects to ensure delivery of timely outcomes, including effective task allocation and prioritisation, monitoring progress, problemsolving and reporting on potential risks and treatment options.
  • Lead, consult and negotiate with stakeholders (internal and external, to effectively and robust represent the department's interest.
  • Compile and communicate strategic advice to a variety of customers regarding complex and sensitive data issues, including ( but not limited to) system and technology recommendations.
  • Prepare wellresearched papers, including Senior Management Team papers, Briefing Notes and other executive level correspondence.
  • Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
