Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Ringwood Private Hospital is looking to employ an Associate Nurse Unit Manager for their Day Surgery Unit.
Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope Victoria Nurses & Midwives' Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2025.
Position Responsibilities – The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership to the unit to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager You will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
You will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human and material resources.Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous performance Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvements initiatives As one of the leading cancer hospitals in Melbourne's outer east, Ringwood Private Hospital provides high quality care for patients who may require specialized medical, surgical and cancer services.

Selection Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA Working with Children's check 3-5 years acute medical/ surgical experience Commitment to Quality Patient Care Current or previous ANUM or Clinical Nurse Specialist experience (desirable) Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Sound clinical knowledge Exemplary interpersonal, communication skills and positive role modelling behaviour.
