Cabrini's Emergency Department
​Cabrini's Emergency Department, located in Malvern, Victoria, is a leading private emergency healthcare facility. With 30 treatment spaces, including 3 dedicated resus spaces, which is soon to be expanded, we have a team of Emergency specialists and registrars available 24/7. Cabrini ED is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a dedicated radiology suite with 24-hour access to X-ray and CT scans, as well as after-hours ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and urgent MRI services for life-threatening diagnoses.

How you will make an impact
This permanent Full time or Part time Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) position within our Emergency department will ensure delegated responsibility from the Nurse Unit Manager to provide leadership and management to our staff, ensuring clinical practice is consistent with Cabrini expectations and Australian Nurses and Midwifery Council standards. Our leaders rotate through all shifts - AM, PM and Night duty, and are responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, safe and evidence based nursing practice to ensure optimal health outcomes for our patients and the community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Clinical competence: Provides and ensures clinical nursing is delivered competently with the goal for excellence in nursing care
  • People management: Conducts and maintains a professional safe team culture
  • Standards: Practices in accordance with legislation affecting nursing practice
  • Staff development: Maintains an environment that enables continuing professional development for self and nursing staff

About you

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through AHPRA
  • Victorian Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD)/Professional Practice Portfolio (PPP)
  • Recent experience in Emergency nursing
  • Post Graduate qualifications in the area of practice
