_Why is this role for you?_
You love working in marketing and have done for 5 years+ in Australia.

You know a lot but want to develop your skills further and the idea of running marketing on your own for a business appeals to you.

Having different daily tasks and managing your own workload is the type of challenge that excites you.

As a newly created role in the company, you won't be dropped in the deep end and left to sink or swim


Initially, you will have a road map to guide you in what they want to achieve in both the short/long term, and your input to tweak and change this is welcomed, you are the expert after all.

You'll enjoy this role if you want to step out of the shadows of others in your current team.

You want your voice and ideas to be heard and you are happy to implement them under your own steam with the backing of the management team.


You'll report straight to 2 hands-on directors who have good (and bad) ideas and you'll receive content for their social media channels.

If you can do a bit of your own copywriting/editing that would be ideal.


With your knowledge and input they want to improve their identity in the construction sector and their culture in what is already a high staff retention company.


_What can you tell me about the company?_
You'll love the fact that this company didn't let anyone go during covid.

They took the financial hit on the chin knowing that they would come out stronger once the good times returned.

And that's one of the reasons why staff has stuck around. (27 of 90 staff have been there 10 years or more)


With almost 40 years of delivering projects in NSW, they are great builders but they aren't the best at marketing themselves and that's why your expertise is needed.


You will be based in Artarmon near the shops and cafes of Lane Cove, they are near transport links and there is free parking near the office.


_About You_


You are a marketing coordinator who has preferably worked in the construction, engineering, logistics or architectural sectors though other experience will be considered.

A detailed job spec can be provided but we'd love to hear from you if you have previously done the following 4 points;

  • Implemented a marketing plan and produced content promoting a company
  • Planned and coordinated functions/events internally for a company
  • Used InDesign for print and digital documents for internal/external use
  • Worked on strategies to enhance a company's culture e.g., ran inhouse employee surveys
