About the role:

For many years, Anglicare has provided affordable housing options for vulnerable people.

Our Social and Affordable Housing Programs target people aged over 55 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness throughout the Sydney and Illawarra regions.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional who will support Anglicare's Mission by providing Intensive Tenancy Management to our tenants in our Affordable Housing Program.

Based in the Central & Western Sydney Region Team, you will be responsible for delivery of person-centred Intensive Tenancy Management services to tenants to ensure they are supported to sustain their tenancies.

You will be connecting tenants with communities and facilitating support while contributing towards the long term strategic and business planning of Anglicare's housing portfolio.


Key responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Preparation and execution of the Lease agreements
  • Managing vacancy levels
  • Managing rent collection and arrears
  • Assessing Tenants for eligibility
  • Undertaking Tenants Needs Assessment and Reassessment annually
  • Providing referrals to internal and external support services as needed
  • Overseeing property maintenance and inspections
  • Documenting and Reporting
  • Management of Tenant disputes, enquires and complaints

About You:

  • Experience in tenancy management minimum of 5 + years
  • Understanding of the community housing sector and community housing sector tenants
  • Valid Working with Children's Check
  • You will have strong understanding of the community housing sector and community housing sector tenants
