**Sales Specialist

  • Pain & Anaesthesia, NSW North**
    PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:To manage the designated portfolio within the B. Braun business in the specified territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management of assigned territory & sales of focus products.

  • Planning and organising the designated sales territory to ensure timely and costeffective contact
with relevant key decision makers

  • Identifying the needs and opportunities of customers and presenting accurate product information
leading to a buying decision

  • Building and maintaining effective business relationships with customers and with fellow members
of B. Braun

  • Taking responsibility for all issues relating to customers in the territory
  • Taking responsibility for all product samples, boot stock, demonstration kits, demonstration stock
and viewing stock requested by customers and sales specialist to support sales activity within
territory

  • Meeting all documented performance and territory management requirementsActivity Planning
  • Take responsibility for learning specific product, competitive and industryrelated information
  • Prioritise time and coverage allocation in the territory, based on hospital classification
  • Formulate specific objectives prior to each call and ensure appropriate followup
  • Ensure efficient and costeffective utilisation of samples, literature and promotional material
  • Representation
  • Identify and meet appropriate customers in accordance with time and territory planning
  • Utilise selling skills to identify opportunities, overcome objections and gain a buying decision to
meet the overall territory objective

  • Attend relevant trade, professional and inhouse conferences inside and outside business hours
Presentations

  • Deliver product/clinical presentations to clinical groups
  • Deliver presentations to fellow Sales Team at State and National meetings.
  • Coordinate regular inservices, presentations and updates on B. Braun Hospital Care portfolio to
existing customers

  • Promote and sell benefit of product range.
Management

  • Take responsibility for issues related to pricing, promotions, trade displays, education and product
trials for product responsibilities in the territory

  • Undertake a regular review of product performance in the territory
  • Update and maintain an accurate customer record system
Reporting

  • Weekly reports via CRM outlining sales successes, pricing, competitor activity, industry
information, lost business, promotional activity, new products and general feedback

  • Specific reports as required
  • Expense reports monthly unless by arrangement

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Essential:

  • Able to plan and prioritize projects.
  • Able to Troubleshoot clinical & product issues and provide solutions
  • Excellent Listening skills. Listen actively to customer's (internal and external) needs.
  • Excellent communication Skills.
  • Understanding of clinical environment where products are used.

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • Sustained high performance
  • Expert level product expertise
  • Proven successful sales experience

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working with similar portfolio/industry
