Our Lihir operation in Mobile Maintenance is now recruiting for the position of Senior Specialist - Fleet Maintenance Planning.

As a Senior Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective maintenance planning and scheduling by providing leadership, support, and coaching to the Mobile Fleet Maintenance Planning Team.

Your expertise will be demonstrated through the delivery of accurate schedules to achieve maintenance strategy compliance for a diverse range of assets onsite, including large mining shovels, haul trucks, dozers, graders, light vehicles, dewatering pumps, barges, cranes, and other equipment. Extensive knowledge of SAP Planning and Master Data will be essential for success in this role.

Taking a proactive approach will contribute to optimizing maintenance plans and master data, ensuring that maintenance work is completed within approved budgets and effectively managing any variances.

The preferred candidate should hold a Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Heavy Equipment Fitting, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a maintenance planning role for mobile plant equipment, including supervisory experience. In addition to technical expertise, the role involves developing team members, so experience in training and assessment is highly regarded.
