Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture, working in our highly collaborative People & Culture team, you will be responsible for managing all things HR systems, processes and reward.

This role is a hybrid position located at our Yarraville Head Office.


This position would be ideal for someone with a great analytical background and enjoys a varied role working in HR processes, systems and reporting across the Hire to Retire process.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Being the super user across all our People and Culture systems that we utilise
  • Driving the development and delivery of key People & Culture projects and working with the IT team being the SME/Project lead for Sugar Australia on all HR systems
  • Managing the People & Culture policies, procedures, processes and systems for Sugar Australia
  • Delivering on all People & Culture reporting that is required, both for compliance and to develop insights to inform People & Culture strategies
  • Related administration and reporting to support the broader P&C teams including the owner of our intranet page
  • Owner of remuneration benchmarking, our benefits program, managing the annual remuneration review and ensuring ongoing benchmarking of remuneration
  • Work with a broader People & Culture team to develop new people and culture initiatives and provide superior levels of service across client groups

What you'll bring to the table:

This position will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for people and a collaborative working style.


  • Experience in People and Culture operational environments being the 'go to' on all P&C Systems related activities
  • Involvement in implementation and project management of new HR Systems
  • Highly analytic exposure to People and Culture Analytics and Reporting
  • Previous exposure to SAP, SuccessFactors, Litmos or HRIS is desired
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a member of a diverse team which results in both personal and business performance outcomes
  • Evidence of having continuously improved processes and systems to ensure efficiency and a user focussed experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
