ROLE OVERVIEW

The System Engineer/Administrator is tasked with offering advanced level 2/3 IT support to guarantee the smooth operation of the organization's IT services. This position involves system and network administration, application and security management, cloud services, telephony, service desk support, mobility, documentation, and automation. The ideal candidate should showcase strong technical skills, exceptional issue-solving abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a lively setting. This role requires a proactive stance towards IT infrastructure upkeep, security assurance, and user support to enhance productivity.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Manage Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, group policy, WSUS, and VEEAM backups
  • Supervise network operations such as international links, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, and Internet
  • Handle applications like Windows ADC, VEEAM, VMware, Nagios, SnipeIT, Papercut, Greentree, Board, Easy FBT, and Bloomberg
  • Deploy and oversee security solutions such as Symantec Endpoint Protection, Gallagher, and ICT Protégé
  • Control cloud services like Salesforce, Meraki, Tanium, Secure Gateway, Promaster, and UKG
  • Provide assistance on telephony systems including Cisco Webex Calling and Webex Teams
  • Resolve level 2/3 service desk requests
  • Update and maintain IT system documentation
  • Support and create UiPath automation processes

MORE ABOUT YOU:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in:
    • Server administration (Windows, and Linux)
    • Systems administration (network, security, telephony)
    • Virtual server administration (VMware)
    • Active Directory and group policy management
    • VEEAM centralized backups
    • RPA and automation coding (UiPath)
