The Role
The Head of Compliance position in Worldline's Second Line of defense focuses on ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory obligations, and internal standards for the Australian market. Leading compliance for Worldline in Australia is crucial for future growth. Reporting to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, collaboration with local and global teams is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead Australia Compliance function and collaborate with Worldline Group.
- Develop and monitor compliance policies.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits.
- Provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Handle regulatory inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
- Report regularly on compliance performance and emerging risks.
Experience
- 10+ years in senior Compliance roles.
- Proven experience in AFSL licensed organizations.
- Leadership, team management, and AML/CTF experience.
- Experience in AFSL application and matrix organizations.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Effective influencing, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Deep industry and regulatory knowledge.
- Results-driven with ability to work under pressure.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Multicultural mindset and ability to work internationally.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or equivalent.
- Industry Compliance Certifications (ACAMS, etc.).
