The Manager, Planning and Operations is responsible for providing high-level support and advice to the Office of the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) and operations of the Experience Function.
In this newly created role, you will lead and manage the Experience Function's operational activities, specifically financial (in conjunction with the Finance Business Partner), planning, performance, monitoring and reporting.
This is an exciting role, with room for growth and a strong people focus, that will see you lead cultural and work practice changes required to support the Function's strategic directions.
About You
You will be an independent go-getter with a strategic-mindset and ability to interpret data and communicate important findings to senior stakeholders.
You'll be adaptable and ready to step into a leadership position with a focus on the big-picture and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:- Demonstrated experience in the development, interpretation and implementation of budget and financial management.
- Significant leadership skills, including the capacity to initiate, lead and manage in a challenging and dynamic environment and to provide strategic advice and support.
- Demonstrated experience in the management and delivery of services within a large, complex organisation.
- Expertise in the areas of planning, change management and project delivery. Experience working in an agile, scrum and lean environment would be an advantage.
You will join the Experience Function, as part of the International and Engagement Portfolio.
The Experience function's vision is to bring to life RMIT's strategy by putting the student and all of RMIT's audiences at the heart of everything that we do and delivering a CX vision and insights to help guide the University deliver on our promise.
The function is responsible for Global Marketing and our Brand, Digital and CX, Student Recruitment and Admissions, Market Intelligence and Propositions (product and pricing strategy), Alumni and Engagement.
