ISS teams come together to care for clients and colleagues, championing talents and uniting with trust in a place open to the true self.ISS IS A PLACE TO BECOME WHAT YOU WANTISS is a global workplace experience and facility management company, provides placemaking solutions that contribute to better business performance and makes life easier, more productive and enjoyable - delivered to high standards by people who care.ISS IS A PLACE TO BECOME PART OF SOMETHING BIGGERWith over 485,000 employees throughout 46 countries ISS is a company of belonging."Connecting People and Places to Make the World Work Better".Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Planning & Performance Manager to work from our site in Melbourne Airport, employed on a Full Time basis.The role will have reporting lines to the Senior Manager Airfield Operations for our client and to the General Manager of Aviation within the ISS team and will work with other key members of the management and compliance teams across the ISS Australia team.With a primary focus on the planning and performance of our current Work Safety Officer team and the allocation of duties, partnerships to achieve business and client goals, the role will also utilise strategic partnerships, along with data analytics, to solve problems and achieve operational excellence.Other areas of focus will include using strategic sourcing principles in the planning process, driving rostering decisions based on projections, analysis and project plans, and, specifically developing and delivering Projects (managing resources, developing and management of the traffic management plan for the client delivery).This is a key 'hands on' role in the Planning and Performance function, which will shape business improvement through detailed analysis that challenges the status quo to deliver true impact. We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable and enjoys working in the airfield as needed.The Position:
- Work closely with both internal and external Project Managers to optimise resource utilisation and minimise labour usage.
- Collaborate with client to develop quarterly forecasts of labour requirements, projecting needs up to 12 months in advance.
- Oversee the bookings portal to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies, ensuring its correct usage in collaboration with projects.
- Collaborate with Airfield Ops and Projects to develop Traffic Management Plans (TMP)
- Conduct audits on contractors' usage, comparing requested and allocated resources with actual needs, and identifying areas of inconsistencies.
- Review rostering to optimise efficiency across projects, with a priority on pooling resources effectively.
- Lead lessons learned projects before, during, and after projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Support client in the implementation of continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- This role requires working from site 5 days a week due to the integral client facing nature of the role.
- Work with a close-knit and dedicated team, focused on continuous development.

- Strong leadership - proven ability to influence others to a considered course of action.
- Strategic and operational planning.
- Well-honed customer relationship skills.
- Broad based management experience - preferably in a security or aviation environment.
- Management of large scale, diverse workforce in a highly regulated environment.
- Proven ability to deliver to plan.
- Successful profit and loss management.
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite.
- Hold a current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and Airside Drivers Authority (or ability to obtain).
