About the Role
NFS head quarter team in Sydney is seeking to appoint an experienced Human Resource/Administrative Manager to lead in varied assets of HR tasks as well as administrative tasks. You will work with our outstanding team to address needs the company is eager to fulfill.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the administrative functions of the company
  • Provide ongoing support to Directors/CEO/CFO on a daily basis
  • Oversee and prioritise the workload of administrative assistance within the team
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage or advise on recruitment and retention
  • Oversee and evaluate overall HR and admin strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Develops training and performance management program that ensures all employees are familiar with their job responsibilities, as well as relevant legal and safety requirements
  • Handles investigation and resolution of employee issues, concerns and conflicts
  • Ensures all employment practices comply with national, state and local regulations
  • Account management and stakeholder engagement
  • General HR / administrative tasks with potential of fulfilling account receivable/payable work
  • Oversees the day-to-day activities of the admin team

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager, Administrative manager or other executive roles
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of HR/Admin systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Extensive understanding of the Fair Work Act, employment legislation and the ability to effectively interpret and apply various industrial instruments
  • Proficient in verbal and written English and Japanese
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Payforce, MYOB EXO will be highly regarded

Essential:

  • Permanent Resident VISA holder or Australia Citizen
  • NSW permitted driver licence

Job Type: Full-time
