Our mission is to grant the wish of every eligible child - a quest sparked by the belief that a wish is integral to a child's treatment.
About the role:
The 'Stewardship Manager - Regular Giving reports to the Head of Individual Giving & Philanthropy and is responsible for the planning and delivery of supporter-facing activities to increase retention and lifetime value of individuals.
The role is responsible for delivering stewardship updates for our individual supporter base, including production of Make-A-Wish's regular giving product - working with other marketing and project management colleagues as required.
The person responsible will work with the data team to support the development of a rolling supporter upgrade and conversion program.
You will have a key role in the organisation ensuring that regular donors feel appreciated, engaged and understand their impact on the Wish Journey.
Responsibilities of the role
- Manage all strategies and activities for regular donors
- Using a multichannel approach to Regular Giving donors that is implemented on time and to budget that includes growth by increasing average gifts through an upgrade strategy and increasing transactions through an optimised banking strategy.
- Collaboration with the Philanthropy team on all middle tier activities across Appeal and Regular Giving segments.
- Collaboration with Acquisition Coordinator on second gift strategies and reporting on regular giving conversion
- Help to monitor campaign and product performance, providing regular campaign and project status reports
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key external stakeholders including agencies, fundraising consultants and mail houses.
- Manage internal stakeholders across creative planning, design, copy data management, fulfilment, implementation and donor care.
- Support other team members such as National Acquisition Specialist and Head of Individual Giving during peak activity across all programs.
About you:
- Awareness and understanding of best practice fundraising and recent trends and guidance in relation to Regular Giving.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising with proven experience in Individual Giving.
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Exemplary interpersonal skills including effective listening, empathy, discretion, diplomacy and ability to build and sustain relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- High levels of attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Positive cando attitude with strong work ethic and ability to operate well in a team environment.
