Retail Compliance & Quality Officer
We are searching for an experienced Retail Quality & Compliance Officer, to reflect regulatory obligations, ensure compliance to processes and procedures and assist with the improvement of the customer experience in the delivery of customer services within Horizon Power.

This position is a maximum term contract until June 2025.

Your role will include:


• Overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies within the Customer and Community division.

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality and integrity of Customer services delivery and outcomes are achieved in adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.

• Supporting the improvement of customer service processes, systems and procedure to address quality outcomes, compliance issues and audit findings.

• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities and collaborate with relevant departments to implement proactive measures for risk mitigation.

• Assisting in the investigation of service quality (in conjunction with complaints team) and compliance issues, breaches, or near misses and recommend corrective actions and preventive measures to address identified problems.

You will have:


• Demonstrated experience and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the energy or utility industry.

• Knowledge of best practices in compliance program development and management.

• Understanding of government trading enterprises, governance and retail service delivery in utilities.

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Compliance and Risk Management, or related discipline is desirable.
