The Role


The Solution Delivery Manager leads a team of customer focused digital health professionals that deliver implementation plans and project services across the Hospital Care business unit portfolios within Telstra Health.


This is a people leadership, customer engagement and program delivery role that is responsible for the creation of a performance culture dedicated to the delivery of digital solutions that exceed our customers' expectations.

The role leads a team including Implementation Specialists, Project Managers, and Clinical Application Specialists who together provide exceptional client facing solution planning, change management and deployment services.


Key Accountabilities

  • Building and maintaining sustainable partnerships with our customers and a range of both internal and external teams including Business Development, third party software partners, third party service providers
  • Collaborating with internal teams to share intelligence from customers and to ensure we are delivering outcomes for our customers such as Product Solutions, Design, Software Engineering and Support
  • Leading, building and maintaining a highly engaged team to deliver exceptional client services with all our customers.
  • Assist in the scoping for existing and potential business that support the company's strategy and goals to address significant crosscutting opportunities across the digital health ecosystem
  • Create real value for customers through endtoend digitization, including how our solutions work with existing solutions and partner solutions.
  • Incorporate clinical innovation and optimize the use of data and AI.
  • Assist in capital planning, providing valuable input towards the development of business cases, bring the customer voice to discussions about functionality and product roadmaps.
  • Attract, retain talent into the Customer Solutions team by focusing on culture, challenging customer programs and projects, career development opportunities and celebrating successes.

What You'll Bring

  • A proven track record of leading broad teams through digital transformation and adoption by customers across different market segments, based on agile methodology.
  • Experience working in a clinical technological environment where service management and support are a critical part of a largescale and diverse environment including incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines.
  • Success in leadership and management and coaching teams for performance
  • Ability to contribute to the development and management of policies, practices and trends from a financial and commercial perspective.
  • Tertiary qualifications in any clinical or scientific areas and a business related or technology discipline are well regarded.
  • Highly regarded: Certified Health Informatician Australasia Preference for health management tertiary qualification or MBA.
