We are seeking suitable candidates to perform duties as Aviation Screening Officers. Duties include:

  • Customer Service
  • Bag Loading
  • X-Ray Monitoring
  • Conducting frisk searches
  • Physical Bag Searches
  • Walk-thru metal detector monitoring.
  • Explosive Trace Detection (ETD)

Key Responsibilities

No experience required; however.

CUSTOMER SERVICE experience is a MUST

Certis will cover the cost of your training, including a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (AVI20118) and 40 hours On-the-Job Training. The Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) is a nationally recognized qualification and is a requirement for all Aviation Screening Officers and is completely FREE with our Registered Training Organization (RTO

Note that to progress into a permanent position you are required to successfully complete the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) and, at the end of your On-the-Job Training, be deemed capable of making independent screening decisions.

About You

  • Exceptional customer service & communication skills
  • Impeccable personal presentation & professional conduct
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence and Vehicle (to attend early morning shifts)
  • Security licence (1AC) preferred but not mandatory.

24/7 Availability to work a Rotating Shift Roster

Valid National Police Check (Mandatory)
