Position Information:


The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools.

We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.


About the Role


Recreation Coordinator supervises a departmental school's sport and physical recreation programme and will be expected to source and develop a schedule of various traditional and contemporary sporting and recreational activities for schools which includes liaising with clubs to develop best practice in coaching and youth development.

The role includes the set-up of sporting facilities infrastructure and equipment, monitor and maintain the fields and the supervision of sporting activities

Essential Requirements
Valid Working With Children Check clearance (paid employment);
Ability to work afternoons, evenings and weekends as required.
Current and valid NSW drivers car licence and willing to undertake driving tasks as required.
